Can I get a ride up on Friday and a ride back to NYC on Sunday/Monday?
Yes, some of our guests have generously offered to drive other guests up on Friday or back down on Sunday.  We can’t promise a ride, but let us know and we’ll make the connection.  First come, first serve.  Lloyd’s sister, Alexandra Nimetz, is managing the ride-board, so please contact her at animetz@gmail.com or 917-903-1258.  Go to the website at http://bit.ly/rideboard to offer and find rides. 
 

Should I drive to Astor Courts on Saturday or Sunday or is there transportation?
Saturday ceremony and reception - Although it’s not required, we highly recommend that you take advantage of the shuttle buses we arranged. Parking space is very limited, and it will be much easier and safer to take the shuttle.  Here’s the schedule for the shuttle: 

From the Beekman Arms Hotel (6387 Mill St, Rhinebeck, NY)

• 5:15pm
• 5:45pm 

From the Belvedere Mansion (10 Old Rte. 9, Staatsburg, NY)

• 5:00pm
• 5:30pm

From Astor courts back to the Beekman Arms or Belvedere 

• Buses will run between midnight and 3am

Sunday Brunch - Yes you need to drive, get a ride, or take a taxi. There won’t be any shuttle buses available, and it would be great if you can carpool.

What is the suggested attire for Friday night?
The dress code is “dressy casual.”  For men, you can wear seasonal sports coat or blazer and slacks, dress shirt, casual button-down short or polo shirt.  For women, you can wear skirt and dressy top or dressy pants outfit.    Go to the section for dressy casual in this website: http://bit.ly/fridayattire.

What is the suggested attire for Saturday night?
The dress code for Saturday is “black tie optional”.  If you have a tux and you love wearing it, please do so.  If it’s too much trouble, you can just come with suit and tie.  For women, it’s a cocktail dress (short or long is fine).    

Can I wear a short dress on Saturday?
Short Cocktail dress is absolutely fine.  

What is the suggested attire for Sunday brunch?
The dress code for Sunday is “casual”.  We have a lot lawn games ready for you so just wear something comfortable! 

What is the Nimetz Home address and what are the directions to get there?
430 Wurtemburg Rd, Rhinebeck, NY 12572 (corner of Vlei road).  It’s a white house with a pretty bright red roof.  We’ll be in the back of the house and parking will on our property, slightly up the road.   I highly recommend using Google Maps or Waze, to get directions.  If your phone or GPS navigation dies on you, then take 9G South from Rhinebeck until you turn left onto Vlei road.  This little road dead-ends in 200 yards and our house is right there on the corner on the left.   To key is to find Vlei road because the street sign is tiny.  To find the road also look for bigger sign for the Bitter Sweet Bed and Breakfast. 
 
 

What is the Astor Courts address and what are the directions to get there?
The address is 189 River Road, Rhinebeck NY.   But don't follow GPS to get exactly there, it will send you into the wrong driveway. Once you turn from Rhinecliff Road onto River Road heading north, the entrance to the property is about a mile and a quarter up on your left.  There is an opening in the stone wall there and we’ll have a sign or a balloon at the entrance for the events.  None of our events will require you to drive up to the house.  There is NOT parking at the house so please don’t drive to the house.  The parking will be on River Road right in front of the driveway so look out for an obvious parking lot there and some parking attendants who will be helping out.   If you have any issues finding the parking, call either Alexandra (see info above) or the Parking Coordinator (see info above).

If you do need to get to the house for some reason, go turn left onto the driveway towards the river and then go about a mile on a gravel drive through the iron gates and up the hill - you'll see the big white building on your left.  For Sunday, please try to carpool if you can — parking space is limited.
