We met serendipitously at Stanford Business School in 2008.  There is an annual talent show there where we were paired up to dance Argentine Tango together.

 Five years later we got engaged on Christmas day after a spontaneous midnight tango under a quiet streetlight in a Roman piazza!    

After meeting at Stanford, Lloyd moved to India for a year, but when he came back to the Bay Area, we started dating. We lived a block away from each other for the first two years of the relationship spending a lot of time together and have lived together ever since, both in San Francisco and now in NYC.
 
Despite having been together for so long, our friends and families are spread out across the world and haven’t had many opportunities to get to know one another so we’re very much looking forward to this event as a unique opportunity to bring everybody together.
